Gelis spp. have been collected from puparia of Myoleja lucida infesting Lonicera and various species of Rhagoletis infesting Lonicera, Prunus, and Berberis in Europe (Wiesmann 1936, Wiesmann 1937, Boller 1966, Hoffmeister 1992).
