Originally described as Opius leveri by Fullaway (1953).
Remarks
Psyttalia leveri was originally described from Malaysia, based on material reared from the tephritid Spheniscus sexmaculatus (Macquart) infesting flower heads of Hyptis capitata (Lamiaceae) (Fullaway 1953). For more general information, see the Psyttalia page.
