This is a pale species with a very long ovipositor and distinctly protruding hypopygium. As noted in the original description, the apical flagellomeres are pale yellow, almost white.

Described from Peru. Specimens very similar to the type series have been reared from Anastrepha infesting edible fruits in Suriname.
