Diagnosis and Relationships
Lower tooth of mandible entirely absent (see M. comptus page, Fig. 1). Interantennal process compressed, with median carina (Fig. 1). Facial shield without a median longitudinal carina. Occipital carina absent ventrally, below level of occipital foramen. Tarsal claws of fore and mid legs with pectination only on basal 0.3-0.4. Galea and glossa long. Epicnemial carina long, extending nearly to subtegular ridge.
