Metopius (Cultrarius) rufipes Cresson, 1865
Diagnosis and Relationships
Lower tooth of mandible entirely absent (see M. comptus page, Fig. 1). Interantennal process compressed, with median carina. Facial shield with a median longitudinal carina. Occipital carina absent ventrally, below level of occipital foramen. Tarsal claws of fore and mid legs with pectination only on basal 0.3-0.7. Metapleuron with coarse, scattered punctures. Mesopleuron with a small yellow spot below the wing. Second metasomal tergite with posterior 0.5 yellow.
